Frequently asked questions
Short answers about internet, sizes, publishing, updates, records and the Zudoria mark in videos.
Do I need internet?
No, not for learning and creating. Courses, drafts and progress are stored on the device. You only need internet to buy the full version and to restore the purchase. To receive or pass on a course file, you use whatever way you like, such as e-mail or Google Drive.
Do I need an account?
No. Learning and creating work without signing in. Only the purchase and restoring it go through your Google Play account.
How large can a course be?
A course can be up to 300 MB. Single images can be up to 20 MB, videos up to 150 MB, audio files up to 100 MB and PDFs up to 50 MB. You make long videos smaller by shortening them in the video editor or creating them in HD instead of Full HD.
Why can't I publish?
Needs to be completed lists what is still missing, for example a learning objective, an image description or a transcript for a video. Tap Open lesson to jump straight to the right place. Hints are only recommendations and don't block publishing. Read more under Creating a course.
I have changed a course. How do the others get the change?
Publish a new version and pass on the new course file. Whoever opens it gets the new version in place of the old one, see Install a new version.
The course file comes from a newer version of Zudoria. What now?
Update Zudoria in Google Play. After that the file can be opened.
Can I hide the Zudoria mark in the video?
No. Every video that Zudoria creates carries a small Zudoria mark at the bottom right. It is shown for the whole length of the video. You add your own logo to the intro and outro.
Is the participation confirmation an official record?
It is a self-declaration. Nobody checks the person's identity, and Zudoria does not send anything itself. Whether it is enough for you is decided by the course provider. Read more under Learning and records.
Zudoria reports a problem with the date and time.
The usage days depend on the date. If the device's date does not match the saved usage days, Zudoria tells you. Check the date and time in your device settings and set them to automatic.
Is Zudoria available for iPhone?
Zudoria is currently available for Android phones and tablets.
Where can I find the legal documents?
You can reach the software licence and the privacy policy in the app under Activate Zudoria and on this website under "Legal".
