Zudoria software license
Language versions
The German original is the authoritative version of this document. Other language versions are translations for your information. If language versions differ, the German version prevails. Mandatory statutory rights and disclosure obligations remain unaffected.
Studio and Viewer
The Zudoria full version is a personal, perpetual software license for the editor (Studio) and lesson player (Viewer) on your own supported Android devices. The one-time purchase is made through Google Play or, where offered, directly from schukai. Installation is free, with a trial of 30 local usage days before activation. Days on which you edit content or learn are counted, rather than elapsed calendar days.
Scope of the purchase
The one-time purchase permanently unlocks the features described at the time of that purchase. Larger new features or feature packages may later be offered as separate, optional one-time purchases. Purchased features remain unlocked without another purchase and are not subsequently converted into a subscription. Ongoing services are offered separately unless already included in the promised purchase scope.
We provide statutorily required bug fixes and security updates without an additional purchase price. Other statutory duties, including updates necessary to maintain conformity with the contract, remain unaffected. We envisage adaptations to new versions of the supported operating systems and smaller improvements, without promising a particular development, release or deadline. Whether and when such voluntary updates appear may also depend on approval by the relevant store. This does not relieve us of statutory duties or promises already made.
This applies to both new and existing purchases. The services and any broader promises applicable at the original purchase remain binding, including expressly promised future features or updates. This version does not restrict those promises retrospectively or automatically replace existing contractual terms.
After the trial
The full version is required to continue editing and learning after the 30 usage days. Your content and progress are retained. Existing completion records and file exports remain accessible. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove local contents; first save needed course files or a workspace backup. Workspace backups exclude device identity, license and trial counter, and do not transfer software rights.
Your own devices and restoration
The license is for your personal use. Restore purchases on your other supported Android devices using the original Google Play account. Purchasing and restoration are verified online. An already verified perpetual activation remains usable locally during a temporary license-service outage. Refunds or cancelled purchases may revoke activation after a later verification.
Software and learning materials
Courses and rights to learning materials are separate from the software license. The full version includes no particular course collection. You may distribute your own course files through an intranet, website or other services you choose, provided you hold the required content rights. Recipients need their own Zudoria entitlement or remaining trial usage days. Zudoria charges no course fee for this file exchange.
Protection of the software
Zudoria and its protected elements may not be copied, incorporated or adapted without authorisation. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the software or otherwise derive its source code unless the activity is permitted by law. Lawful activities, particularly under sections 69d and 69e of the German Copyright Act, remain permitted. Within the statutory limits, these include backup copies, observing, studying or testing the program and achieving interoperability.
You may not incorporate protected program code or protected parts of the documentation, user interface or file specifications without authorisation into replicas, substitutes or imitating products, or into competing or compatible software. This does not impose a general ban on independent development based on unprotected ideas, principles, functionality or formats. Lawful interoperability is not prohibited.
You may access, export, back up, share and reuse your own content and data, including with other programs. This does not promise additional technical export features or change third-party rights in that content. Statutory rights and any broader rights under applicable third-party or open-source licences remain unaffected.
Scope
The first sales release uses local data and course files. Hosted course links, automatic sync, a course marketplace, Nucleus activation and paid web or iOS activation are outside this offer. A perpetual license does not promise support for every future operating system or later additional service. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Personal activation code
A direct purchase provides a personal activation code; schukai may also grant complimentary activations. For a direct purchase, the offer states the price and payment method before the contract is concluded. Entering a code does not trigger a payment. The code unlocks a personal perpetual Studio and Viewer license on your own supported Android devices. Initial redemption and restoration on another own device require an internet connection, but no Google account.
Keep the code confidential: anyone who knows it can use it for activation. Contact schukai if it is lost or disclosed without authorisation. A block takes effect on the next successful license check; already signed perpetual rights remain usable offline. Blocking a code does not revoke an independently valid Google Play purchase. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
